William Asiko is currently the Executive Director of Grow Africa, an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), NEPAD and the African Union (AU). Prior to this role, he was the CEO of the Investment Climate Facility for Africa (ICF), an international organization purposed at improving the business and commerce enabling environment in Africa. Prior to joining ICF, William was the President of The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation. His career with The Coca-Cola Company spanned 20 years starting in Kenya and included tours of duty in the United States, Morocco, the United Kingdom and South Africa. William represents Grow Africa on the board of the Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN). In his private capacity, William is on the board of W.E. Can Lead, based in Atlanta, GA; the board of the Discovery Channel’s foundation, the Discovery Learning Alliance in Washington DC and is a member of the Global Advisory Council of the African Leadership Academy in South Africa.
